Ancelotti has turned Real Madrid's individuals into a great team - Sacchi

The former Milan and Italy coach has heaped praise on
his compatriot, claiming the Blancos were a disjointed bunch of quality
players before his arrival

Arrigo Sacchi has hailed Carlo Ancelotti’s achievement in making world champions out of Real Madrid, saying the Italian coach has transformed a group of great individuals into a great team.
Madrid beat San Lorenzo 2-0 in Marrakesh in Saturday’s Club World Cup
final to crown the Spanish giants kings of world football for the first
time.
And the former Milan coach and Madrid director of football has
insisted that his compatriot deserves recognition for turning a
collection of talented players into a fine-tuned machine.
“Carlo has overseen a work of art. He is a humble and intelligent man and he deserves this success,” Sacchi told As. “Real Madrid had great players, but they weren’t a great team: now their play is not just attractive but also effective.”
But the 68-year-old insists that there remain potential stumbling
blocks around the corner as Ancelotti’s men look to extend their current
winning run beyond 22 games.
“I see a tired team,” he added of Madrid. “They keep winning but they
aren’t playing at the level that they were before. Hopefully they can
use the winter break to recharge their batteries.”

The Blancos finish 2014 with four trophies to their name, having
already secured the Uefa Champions League, Copa del Rey and European
Super Cup before Saturday’s Club World Cup success.
